Hi. I lost my zone sounds. Have windows 7 and jaws 13. Other games make sounds. I have an acer computer with an acer game council but don't know how to restore sounds for the zone. Any suggestions?Jim Kitchens games all have sounds.

You didn't somehow toggle sounds off in your account on the zone by accident, did you? Just to check, you could type /sound in the quicknote edit box to toggle them, then toggle them back on if it turns out they were never turned off in the first place.

also, have you checked the volume control for your browser? I have no idea how, but sometimes I've accidentally muted it a couple times.

Finally, are you using firefox? I've heard of people having difficulty getting the sounds to work properly with firefox. then again, if they were working fine before this, I'm doubtful that would be the problem.

Those are really the only issues I could think of, as the zone sounds are working fine for me, so I doubt it would be an issue with the site.

I have seen with my win7 laptop where for some reason the flash player crashes with the latest fire fox. Odd not sure why this is going on, maybe updating my flash palyer plug in might help.

Oh, I found if you uninstall the flash player for fire fox and reinstall a fresh copy after fire fox updates it fixes the situation.

I'm having this problem too, on a Windows 7 laptop using IE. When I go into the volume mixer, even when Internet Explorer is open, it doesn't give me an option to adjust the volume for it. This is definitely weird because I remember it being there on my Vista computer, and there are other options, like the volume for Jaws and Winamp which are the other 2 applications I have open at the moment. Does anyone have any idea why IE isn't showing up?
